Went to a marathon of anime with Omar and Juan. I liked all the six movies:
- El castillo de Cagliostro, from Hayao Miyazaki
- Appleseed, from Shinji Aramaki
- Ghost in the Shell II: Innocence, from Mamoru Ohi
- Kite, from Yasuomi Umetsu
- Castillo en el cielo, from Hayao Miyazaki
- Battle Angel Alita, from Hiroshi Fukutomi
I specially liked Castillo en el cielo and Appleseed; unfortunately the quality of the VCD in the last one was very poor, and all the beauty of the CGI animation was kinda losted.
It was a marathon, so I returned home at 7:30 AM, and I’m still kind of tired. I pick up my car in the afternoon; mechanical service. It feels a lot better; they changed the breaks and fixed other minor stuff. I want to paint it again, but that it will have to wait: I need the money for my gadgets.
I’ve been playing with GNOME 2.10. I liked, and I’ve been discovering little cool details. The only draw back is that I lost my scripts for nautilus. Again. Last time was resolved using the last version of shared-mime-info; but I don’t know what it is this time. I’m looking in the Gentoo forums, but nothing until now.
